Time is... well, Time

The one thing I really appreciate about AI is the assistance it provides and the time it can save me. Yes, the success of that happening is still somewhat 50/50, but still, 50% time saved is 50% time I can spend on the fun (and important) stuff.

I just connected to Linear and asked my AI assistant to create milestones and open issues based on numerous criteria. And while it was far from perfect, at least the foundation was there. Things I would have had to create manually were ready for me to screen, adjust, sort and, in some cases, delete.

And while I now know you have to be smart about which instructions to give and how to configure your assistant, it is an immense help if you are building a dungeon crawling board game like Weezards.

Thanks to my (mostly) trusted AI assistant Weezy handling the tedious project management, I had the freedom to creatively procrastinate. For instance, I found time to experiment with creating actual 3D models for my characters and monsters, and boy, did I follow that white rabbit.

And even though I have to be careful not to trap myself in feature creep, I do think they look rather lovely:

Weezards 3D Miniatures: Crimson Regent, Axe Warrior and Ghoul

If you are interested in what else I have been up to, like revealing the first House of Weezards, feel free to check out the other posts in the Devlog!

Cheers,

Dennis
